In truth the second one he would still feel pains of that fear, dreams waking him up in the night checking if she was still there, that he was still alive and breathing only scars on his body and hers left to show that fight actually happened. All of that though never compared or could compare to the fear bubbling under his skin, the sickening feeling in his stomach his eyes going dry because he thought if he blinked, she would be gone.
